5 CHILD CELEBS WHO SHOCKED THE WORLD..

Still trying to get your head around Miley’s make-out session with the sledgehammer?

Well then, get your jaw off the floor; shocking the world with racy stunts is old hat for these child stars whose transition into adulthood can be described as risqué at best:

1) Amanda Bynes:

Once a popular teen star, Amanda Bynes has now transformed into a living example of why not to let a starlet alone with a camera phone – The She’s Man star has shed her teen star image, along with every last vestige of decency, with a stream of half-dressed self-shots on Twitter that border on the vulgar.

2) Lindsay Lohan:

Probation, drunk driving, jewelry theft, cocaine, rehab; just some of the reasons why you don’t wanna get famous at the wee age of ten. When asked about what went wrong with the adorable eleven year old we knew from The Parent Trap, Lindsay has been quoted as saying, “I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine and mind-altering substances.”

3) Demi Lovato:

Much like her show Sonny with a Chance which saw her fate change overnight; Demi Lovato went from Disney darling to troublemaker in the space of a heartbeat -  The 21 year old star’s tryst with drugs, not to mention the physical altercation with one of Jonas Brothers’ backup dancers, landed her on a bus straight to rehab.

4) Britney Spears:

She started out with pigtails and The Mickey Mouse Club, faded from the limelight and then made a comeback with ‘Baby One More Time’ which promised that she ‘was not that innocent.’ And since people didn’t take her seriously, Britney then moved on to accumulating a chargesheet a mile long, with drugs and rehab being noted as some of her milder crimes.

5) Drew Barrymore:

From the adorable Gertie of E.T., Drew moved on to smoking at the age of 9, marijuana by 12 and a suicide attempt by 14. The Charlie’s Angels star has since gotten her groove back, however her saucy cover for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine still remains the stuff of legends, mainly because it inspired her godfather Steven Spielberg to gift her a copy along with a quilt and a note that read, ‘Cover yourself up!’
